Summer is the season when everything moves outdoors – including shopping. Guests are invited to wander landscaped grounds and buy handmade crafts from local vendors who will set up outside the Seymour Historical Society on Sunday, June 25, from noon to 4 p.m.
There is no admission charge for the Humphreysville Summer Market — the name refers to one of the early names for the town of Seymour. The market will feature a variety of artisans selling everything from homemade greeting cards and unique signs to flavored olive oils and scented soaps. There will also be raffles for craft-oriented items.
The Humphreysville Summer Market will be held rain or shine. The Seymour Historical Society is located at 59 West Street in the Katharine Matthies House, an elegant red-brick Colonial with landscaping featuring native New England plants.
