SEYMOUR — With everything else that’s going on in 2020, your kids deserve to have the merriest Christmas possible. The Seymour Historical Society is planning to do its part by hosting a virtual visit with Santa Claus on Saturday, Dec. 12, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
For the past six years, the historical society has invited children to our museum for in-person encounters with St. Nick. This year, due to the Covid pandemic, we’ve switched to a Facebook Live streaming event called “Snack & Story Time with Santa.”
Just log onto the Seymour Historical Society Facebook page @seymourhistoricalsociety at 1 p.m. on Dec. 12 and gather your children (or grandchildren, nieces, and nephews) around your computer or TV screen. You provide the snacks, and Santa will read Christmas stories and even take questions from youngsters in the audience.
There is absolutely no charge for participating.
For more information, including detailed instructions on how to access the live stream, call 203 – 881-2156, contact .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or visit www.seymourhistoricalsociety.org.
