Seymour Knights Of Columbus Donates $2,700 to Carolyn’s Place

The Seymour Knights Of Columbus Aurora Council #53 had their second annual BBQ Charity Dinner to benefit Carolyn’s Place Pregnacy Care Center in Waterbury.

The event was held Thursday evening June 24th at St. Augustine’s Church in Seymour and was attended by over 100 people.

The Dinner and raffle raised $2,700 for Carolyn’s Place.

The Seymour Knights Of Columbus Aurora Council #53 thank everyone who helped in making the event a success and we look forward to doing it again next year.

The Knights was formed to render financial aid to members and their families. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works.

Carolyn’s Place is special to us because it is an organization that is a Pregnancy Care center helping any women who is facing a difficult pregnancy, and we have strong belief in the sanctity of human life.
