Jack Henriques of Seymour, had some recent luck at City Gas, a local CT Lottery Retailer.
Henriques had won $50 earlier and decided to return after work to play another game.
After seeing three “$50,000 Cash” winning tickets sold before him, Henriques thought, “Let me try it — maybe the top prize is in the fourth one.”
Luckily, Henriques was correct as he won the $50,000 prize!Though this is the largest prize Henriques has even won, the lucky winner plans on being smart about his money. Some will go towards his car which he uses every day for work and a portion will be donated towards supporting the local community.
For selling the winning ticket, City Gas located on 289 Huntington Turnpike in Bridgeport will receive a $500 check from the CT Lottery.
