Seymour may offer a prescription drug discount to residents through a program run by the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities (CCM).
Gina Calabro, a CCM representative, gave an overview of the free plan — for “uninsured and underinsured” residents to get discounts at on prescriptions and eye care — at the Board of Selectmen’s meeting last week.
Frank Loda, a private citizen, recorded the presentation, which is embedded below.
At the end of the discussion, selectmen voted unanimously to authorize First Selectman Kurt Miller to explore the program further with CCM representatives.
