SEYMOUR — 2023 Seymour Memorial Day Parade
The annual Memorial Day Parade in Seymour, CT will be kicking off on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM, honoring the members of the military both past and present whose ultimate sacrifice earned the freedom we have today.
The parade will begin at French Memorial Park, proceeding down New Haven Road (Route 67) to the downtown area on Main Street and will cross over the Broad Street bridge and disband at the Seymour Community Center at 20 Pine Street.
Seymour’s own Louis DeBarber will be the Grand Marshall and Attorney Fred Stanek will be the Master of Ceremonies.
The Sikh community will be handing out ice cream along the parade route. Anyone wishing to volunteer on the day of the parade are asked to call Alex Danka at (203) 464‑4345 or John Stelma at (203) 888- 3104.
