Seymour Police Investigating Report Of Suspicious Incident

Seymour police are investigating a report of man in a vehicle approaching children on Roosevelt Drive.

According to a message from the schools, the man asked a few students around 9 a.m. Thursday if they wanted a ride.

The students said no. The man in the vehicle drove down the road, turned it around, and passed by the students again, according to the posts.

In an email, Seymour Police Chief Paul Satkowski said the department is following up on the complaint and that more information could be forthcoming later. Update: Seymour police sent a release Friday evening saying they’re following leads and that the incident appears to be isolated.

Here’s the text from the schools, confirmed by The Valley Indy at about noon Friday.
