Seymour Police: Man Stole Cell Phone From Town Hall

SEYMOUR — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly stole a cell phone belonging to an employee of Town Hall.

The police department posted information about the incident on its Facebook page and asked the public to help identify the man.

The man in question can be seen in a photo police posted online wearing a face mask, khaki baseball hat and khaki jacket and pants, as he approached the main entrance of Town Hall on First Street.

According to police, the incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Town Hall.

Deputy Chief Roberto Rinaldi said the Detective Bureau is still investigating the incident. Anyone with info should call Detective Joseph Matusovich at 203 – 881-7637 or 203 – 881-7638 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. After hours, people are asked to leave a message.
