SEYMOUR — In anticipation of the upcoming winter storm, we wanted to remind everyone that the winter parking ban is in effect daily from midnight to 6am regardless of weather conditions.
Parking is allowed on the ODD side of the street unless the street is on the exceptions list which we have previously posted. Fine is $30 per day.
Snow and ice removal from the sidewalk is the property owners responsibility to clear. We have also posted the requirements previously. Fine is $100 per day.
Pushing snow and piling it into the roadway is illegal.
Property owners are responsible for private contractors and we ask that you advise them as well. We ask for your cooperation and we want you to know that as always, your first responders will be ready to respond to calls for service!
