Seymour Pumpkin Festival Is Sunday

The 45th annual Seymour Pumpkin Festival will be held on Sunday, Sept. 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at French Memorial Park in Seymour. 

The festival raindate will be Sunday, Sept. 26.

On festival day the park will be full of unique arts and crafts, with over 110 vendors expected to attend. 

There will also be food, rides, and children’s contests. 

Our festival has expanded once again this year with approximately 10 new vendors participating. 

We will once again have a pick of the patch.” 

A raffle showcase of crafts. Stop by festival headquarters and purchase a program, for a small monetary donation, and you will receive raffle tickets to win an item from one of our craft vendors. Each program will also contain valuable coupons for local merchants.

A small sample of some new craft vendors will include: shadowboxes, metal yard art, wine bottle hurricane lanterns, needlework, and primitive wood. New food booths added this year are: fried oreos, steak sandwiches, tacos, and donuts & cider.

For the children and families, we hope they will stop by the make your own scarecrow booth. 

Admission is free. No vehicle traffic, pets, or bikes are allowed in the park on festival day in order to help insure the safety of families attending the festival.
