A 14-year-old boy who was reported missing Thursday night was found Friday morning and returned to his family.
The boy spent the night outside, but was OK, Seymour police said. The boy was able to attend school Friday.
Seymour police issued a Code Red phone message Thursday at about 11 p.m. providing the public with a description of the teen, who left his home after a dispute with his guardian.
The info was shared generously overnight on Facebook and Twitter.
Two women spotted the boy on Mountain Road about 7 a.m. Friday. He was eventually reunited with his family.
“We just want to thank the public for their help in locating this boy,” Lt. Paul Satkowski said Friday.
