State Sen. Rob Kane (pictured, left) congratulated Seymour High School senior Aubrey Tan (right), who was among several outstanding Connecticut students to be presented with scholarships during a May 7 event at the State Capitol complex.
The scholarships were awarded by the Connecticut Water Works Association and the Connecticut Section of the American Water Works Association to celebrate National Drinking Water Week.
The event was attended by state water, health and environmental professionals.
Kane represents the 32nd State Senate District, which includes parts of Seymour.
