Seymour police are searching for a suspect who robbed the Subway sandwich shop in Tri-Town Plaza at 850 Derby Ave. Wednesday.
A man entered the shop about 6:30 p.m. and said he had a gun. He left with cash.
Police didn’t say how much. He didn’t pull a gun, police said, but threatened the employees.
No injuries were reported.
Detectives and area police searched the area and a dog was used in an attempt to track the suspect, who fled on foot, according to radio transmissions.
The suspect was described as a black male, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing a black hoodie and black pants. He is thought to be in his mid-20s.
Police released a surveillance photo of poor quality from the business.
