SEYMOUR — The following information was sent by the Town of Seymour Monday night:
Seymour has received an additional, limited, supply of at-home rapid Covid-19 testing kits and N95 masks. We will host a drive-through distribution event on Wednesday, January 12 from 5 PM to 7 PM at Seymour High School.
Given the limited number of testing kits and masks, we ask only those that are currently experiencing symptoms, have a confirmed exposure, or are a front-line worker come to the distribution event.
If you have already received a testing kit, please be courteous to your fellow community members who may not have had a chance to obtain one.
Proof of residency, such as a driver’s license or addressed piece of mail, will be required to obtain a testing kit and masks. Each kit contains two tests. There will be a limit of one test kit and four masks per vehicle.
There is a limited supply of testing kits l, the kits will be reserved for the medically vulnerable and disabled. If you are medically vulnerable or disabled, please reach out to my office at (203) 888‑2511, extension 2. These supplies will also be distributed on a first-come first-serve basis. Those who are medically vulnerable or disabled who have not yet received a testing kit from our office will be prioritized.
We ask that you look out for your neighbors and consider those who are most at risk. We appreciate your continued patience, understanding, and partnership.
