This year the Winter Parking Ban will be in effect from DECEMBER 1, 2010 thru MARCH 31, 2011.
Because 2010 is an EVEN year, parking will only be allowed on the EVEN side of the street for the entire winter season (December 2010, January 2011, February 2011 and March 2011).
The ban will be in effect daily from 12:00 Midnight until 6:00 A.M. the following morning regardless of the weather conditions.
It will also be in effect during an active winter storm regardless of the time of day.
Below is a list of streets that are exceptions to the EVEN side of the street parking. If your street is not listed below you must park on the EVEN side of the street.
EXCEPTIONS TO PARKING BAN
- SMITH ST: Odd Number Side Only
- WASHINGTON AVE.: From Grand St. North to Rte 67- Parking On Odd Side Only
- NEW ST.: Exempt Parking On Both Sides
- SEYMOUR AVE.: Odd Side Only
- CHERRY ST.: West Side Only
- BUNGAY COURT: Parking Only On North Side
- RIMMONDALE ST.: Parking Only On Odd Side
- RAY ST.: Parking On South Side Only
- SCHOOL ST.: EXEMPT- Parking allowed on Both Sides
- GRAND ST.: Odd Side Parking (Across From Wood St. in the Parking Area)
- FARREL ST.: Parking Only On Odd Side
- WOODSIDE AVE.: Parking Only On Odd Side
- HUMPHREY ST.: Odd Side From Washington Ave. to Sloss Electric Co.
- CAPRICORN DR.: Odd Side Only From Skokorat St. to North Star Dr.
The fine for violation of the winter parking ban is $20.
