Seymour’s Tomac Is Teen Miss Dance Of Connecticut

Danielle Tomac recently won the title Teen Miss Dance of Connecticut 2011 with her award winning tap solo to Knock On Wood” choreographed by Mary McKenzie. 

Danielle will represent the Dance Teachers Club of CT, Chapter #18, of Dance Masters of America at the National Convention in Orlando, Florida this July. 

Danielle will compete along with the other DMA State winners in dance classes, interview, and talent. Danielle Tomac studies ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, musical theater, hip hop, and tap at the Jill Chase Dance Studio in Shelton.

Her dance teachers are Jill Chase, Past National President of Dance Masters of America/Certified Master’s in Dance Direction and Mary McKenzie, certified dance teacher/BA degree in Fine Arts with an emphasis in dance from Eastern Connecticut State University.

Danielle attends the Cooperative Arts and Humanities Magnet High School in New Haven. 

Danielle resides in Seymour with her parents, Caroline and Daniel Tomac and her little sister, Isabella.
