The following are results from the Shelton adult basketball league:
In ‘A’ Division play, Valley Roofing/GFI Mortgage edged Fitzgerald Construction 70 – 69, Danny O’s I ran past Uptempo 88 – 40, and Porky’s Café outlasted CDW 96 – 73.
In the Valley Roofing/GFI Mortgage win Jim Dawes and Jamie Anderson split 46 points, while Nick Cockery was best for the Construction crew with 19.
Danny O’s I was led by Adam Walker with 14 and Matt Todice topped Uptempo with a game high 15.
Matt Pivovar guided Porky’s to their win with 30 markers while Bill Rose led CDW with 23 points.
In ‘B’ Division action, had Danny O’s II moving past Blanchettes Pacers 36 – 28, KFC easily handled Konowitz, Kahn and Company 55 – 39, and Zamba Graphics outlasted Total Comfort 44 – 36.
Danny O’s got a team high 11 points from Bob Piscitelli and Mike Julian topped the Pacers with 11. Moe Martin had the hot hand for KFC with 22 points while Jim Karcher was the only double-digit scorer for Konowitz and Kahn with 10.
Zamba Graphic’s relied on the hot shooting of Mike Billingslea who registered 19 points and Jim Kirby was best for Total Comfort with 21 points.
