Someone vandalized St. Margaret Mary Church at 350 Long Hill Ave. over the weekend.
Police responded to a vandalism complaint Monday morning. Someone smashed religious statues inside and outside the church.
Two vehicles in a parking lot were also damaged, according to a prepared statement from police.
Shelton detectives processed scene are currently following up on the case.
