Update Sept. 9:Shelton Police said Monday that Kathleen Lilley, the 69-year-old Shelton resident involved in the crash, has died.
Police said the accident remains under investigation. No charges have been filed.

Two people were sent to the hospital, one with serious injuries, after a crash at South Constitution Boulevard and Ivy Brook Road Wednesday (Sept. 4) morning.
The crash was reported about 9:10 a.m., according to a prepared statement by police.
Police said a Volkswagen driven by Kathleen Lilley, 69, of Shelton was headed east on Ivy Brook Road and collided with a Ford traveling south on South Constitution Boulevard driven by Christopher Struber, 25, of Ansonia.
Lilley was taken to a hospital and is listed in serious condition, according to police.
A passenger in Lilley’s car was also taken to the hospital, but with minor injuries.
Police said neither Struber nor his passenger were hospitalized.
The Police Department’s Traffic Division is investigating the accident, and no enforcement action has been taken.
Police asked anyone who witnessed the crash to call the traffic division at 203 – 924-1544.
