Statistics released Monday afternoon by the Shelton PD regarding Sunday’s chain-reaction crash on Route 110.
- 50 vehicles damaged
- 40 vehicles towed
- Six dogs involved — none were injured
- 1 vehicle from out-of-state
- 62 people were treated or evaluated at the scene by EMS
- Six people were taken to the hospital (no serious injuries)
- The crash was one-tenth of a mile north of Indian Wells Road
- Vehicles were heading south, on a hill with curves
- Accident started with a spin out
