A motorcycle rider injured in a crash July 8 in Shelton died Thursday, police said.
Adam Haydu, of Monroe, was 30 years old.
Haydu was riding his motorcycle on Leavenworth Road at about 7:15 p.m. when he collided with a vehicle being driven by 33-year-old James Steinmetz of Monroe.
The crash happened at the entrance to Mont’s Mart on Leavenworth Road.
“The accident is still under investigation by the Shelton Police Traffic Division Reconstruction Team and no enforcement action has been taken at this time,” police said in a prepared statement Friday (July 20).
