This year’s Shelton Day street fair is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine.
The event, sponsored by the Derby-Shelton Rotary, began as a street fair in the mid-80s and attracts thousands to Howe Avenue, where vendors’ booths line the street featuring food, crafts, interactive activities and information.
There are also several stages with entertainment.
