Shelton Fire Department Calls For Service

SHELTON — The following information was sent by Shelton Fire Marshal James Tortora:

WEEKLY RESPONSES

On 11/27/23 at 10:48 pm the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded with an engine to an electrical hazard on a utility pole on Noguchi Trail.

On 11/27/23 at 7:09 pm the White Hills Co. #5 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded with an engine to a fire alarm activated at #41 Martinka Drive. There was no fire.

On 11/27/23 at 11:29 pm the White Hills Co. #5 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded with an engine and a ladder truck to a stand-by mutual aid call to the Town of Monroe.

On 11/228/23 at 10:10 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded with an engine to an electrical hazard at #21 Grove Street.

On 11/28/23 at 10:52 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded with an engine to a fire alarm activated at #75 Walnut Tree Hill Road. There was no fire.

On 11/28/23 at 3:03 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded with a unit to #307 Coram Avenue for a public service call.

On 11/28/23 at 8:23 pm the Huntington Co. #3 responded with a rescue truck to #77 Beacon Hill Terrace for an activated carbon monoxide alarm.

On 12/1/23 at :28 am the Huntington Co. #3 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded with an engine to a fire alarm activated at #39 Isinglass Road. There was no fire. 

On 12/1/23 at 10:33 am the Huntington Co. #3 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded with an engine to a carbon monoxide alarm activated at #65 Tuckahoe Drive.

On 12/1/23 at 1:36 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded with an engine to the area of Division Avenue and Maltby Street for a smoke investigation in the area. 

On 12/1/23 at 3:04 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded with an engine to a fire alarm activated at the Canal Bridge Lofts #6 Riverside Drive. A discharged fire sprinkler head caused the alarm.

On 12/1/23 at 5:00 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded with a rescue truck and a ladder truck to an odor of gas at #106 Country Place.

On 12/1/23 at 7:12 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded with an engine to a motor vehicle accident on Coram Avenue at Myrtle Street.

On 12/2/23 at 3:42 am the Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded with two engines and a rescue truck to a car fire as a result of a motor vehicle accident on route 8 north bound between exits 13 and 14. 

On 12/2/23 at 4:42 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded with a rescue truck to #25 Meadow Street for a carbon monoxide alarm sounding.

On 12/2/23 at 11:51 pm the 11:51 am the Huntington Co. #3 responded with an engine to #14 Hidden Pond Lane for a carbon monoxide alarm sounding.

On 12/3/23 at 10:32 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded with an engine and a rescue truck to a motor vehicle accident on route 8 south bound between exits 13 and 12.

On 12/3/23 at 7:21 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded with an engine, a rescue truck and a ladder truck to smoke investigation inside #59 Providence Avenue.

On 12/3/23 at 10:27 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded with an engine to a brush fire on Blackberry Lane.
