On 10/16/23 at 3:36 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1, Pine Rock Park Co. #4 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded with two engines and two ladder trucks to a fire and explosion at the Oak Ridge Waste & Recycle Facility at #90 Oliver Terrace. Upon arrival firefighters found and extinguished a fire that occurred next to and involved an industrial lift machine. An employee was injured and sustained burns as a result of the fire. The employee was treated at the scene by Echo EMS and transported to the Bridgeport Hospital Burn Unit.
On 10/16/23 at 4:40 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded with an engine and two ladder trucks to #38 Huntington Heights for a fire in a microwave oven.
On 10/16/23 at 7:38 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded with an engine to a fire alarm activated the Helen DeVaux Housing Complex at #91 Howe Avenue. There was no fire.
On 10/17/23 at 2:51 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded with two engines to a fire alarm activated at #2 Plum Tree Lane. There was no fire.
ON 10/18/23 at 7:19 am the Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded with an engine and a rescue truck to a small fuel spill at #50 Parrott Drive.
On 10/18/23 at 5:52 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded with an engine to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Coram Avenue and Center Street.
On 10/19/23 at 9:45 am the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded with an engine to a fire alarm activated at #757 Long Hill Avenue. There was no fire.
On 10/19/23 at 9:48 am the White Hills Co. #5 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded with an engine and a ladder truck to a mutual aid call to the Monroe Fire Department at a structure fire at #143 Walnut Street in Monroe.
On 10/19/23 at 1:53 pm the White Hills Co. #5 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded with an engine to #42 Big Horn Road for a vehicle leaking gasoline.
On 10/19/23 at 7:17 pm the Echo Hose H &L Co. #1 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded with an engine to a brush fire on route 8 south bound between exits 13 and 12.
On 10/20/23 at 11:06 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded with an engine and a ladder truck to a fire alarm activated at #70 Center Street. There was no fire.
On 10/21/23 at :50 am the Echo Hose H &L Co. #1 responded with a unit to #59 Geissler Drive for a carbon monoxide alarm sounding.
On 10/21/23 at 9:21 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded with an engine to an electrical hazard with power lines on Howe Avenue near Wharf Street.
On 10/21/23 at 10:01 am the Huntington Co. #3 responded with an engine to an electrical hazard with power lines on Tower Lane.
On 10/21/23 at 3:27 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded with an engine to an odor of gas inside at #307 Coram Avenue.
On 10/21/23 at 6:14 pm the Huntington Co. #3 responded with an engine to an electrical hazard with power lines on Buck Hill Road.
On 10/21/23 at 9:08 pm the Huntington Co. #3 responded with an engine to a carbon monoxide alarm sounding at #2 Rosedale Circle.
On 10/22/23 at :37 am the Huntington Co. #3 responded with an engine to a carbon monoxide alarm sounding at #45 Trap Falls Road.
On 10/22/23 at 2:40 am the Pine Rock Park Co. #4, Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded with an engine and a ladder truck to smoke in the building at Casa Nova Restaurant #833 River Road. There was no fire.
On 10/22/23 at 3:00 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded with an engine to a fire alarm activated at #70 Ivy Brook Road. There was no fire.
