SHELTON — Fire Marshal James Tortora sent in the following calls for service for the Shelton Volunteer Fire Department:

On 5/21/24 at 7:49 am the Huntington Co. #3 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded with an engine to a motor vehicle accident at Huntington Street and Isinglass Road. 

On 5/21/24 at 11:03 am the Huntington Co. #3, Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded with responded with an engine and a ladder truck to a fire alarm activated at Extended Stay America Hotel at #945 Bridgeport Avenue. There was no fire.

On 5/21/24 at 8:41 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded with an engine, a rescue truck and a ladder truck to a fire alarm activated at the101 Hillside Avenue. There was no fire

On 5/21/24 at 9:06 pm the Huntington Co. #3 responded with an engine to #15 Matilda Lane for an activated carbon monoxide alarm.

On 5/22/24 at 8:35 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded with a rescue truck to a public service call, lock-out, at #33 Perry Avenue.

On 5/22/24 at 5:23 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded with a rescue truck to a person stuck in an elevator at #1 Bic Drive.

On 5/22/24 at 6:55 pm the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded with an engine to a public service call, lock-out, at #82 Kanungum Trail.

On 5/22/24 at 7:19 pm the Echo hose H & L Co. #1 responded with a ladder truck to a mutual aid call to the Derby FD for a fire alarm activated at the Griffin Hospital #130 Division Street. 

On 5/23/24 at 10:04 am the Huntington Co. #3 responded with an engine to an electrical hazard outside on Cali Drive.

On 5/23/24 at 12:15 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded with an engine to a mutual aid call to the Derby FD for a fire alarm activated at the Irving School #9 Garden Place.

On 5/23/24 at 8:31 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded with an engine, a rescue truck and a ladder truck to a barbecue grille on fire at #84 Country Place.

On 5/23/24 at 11:31 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded with an engine to #231 Summerfield Gardens for an activated carbon monoxide alarm.

On 5/24/24 at 11:10 am the Huntington Co. #3, Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded with responded with two engines and a ladder truck to a smoke investigation inside the St. Paul’s Church at #25 Church Street. 

On 5/24/24 at 5:59 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded with a rescue truck to a small fuel spill on Howe Avenue near Brook Street.

On 5/24/24 at 6:14 pm the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded with an engine and a ladder truck to a fire alarm activated at the Wicke Health Care #584 Long Hill Avenue. There was no fire.
