The Shelton Fire Department held a Firefighter Truck Rodeo, on Sunday
Sept. 26 at Perkin Elmer Co. on Bridgeport Avenue.
The rodeo is a professional style driving competition that focuses on safety and highlights the capabilities of the department’s four newer rescue pumpers.
The event also promotes department retention and camaraderie between the
cities four fire companies.
