Shelton High Girls Volleyball Raises $400 For Center For Cancer Care

Shelton High Girls’ Volleyball captains, from right, Alyssa Eannotti and Taylor Peers recently presented a check for more than $400 to Chief Radiation Therapist Lori Murphy, far left, and Radiation Therapist Laura Howell of the Center for Cancer Care at Griffin Hospital. 

The team raised the funds through a Pink Game” held on Oct. 5. The donation was made to the Center’s 5K Walk/Run Fund which supports Center for Cancer Care patients with free transportation, support groups and yoga classes, provide free wigs, co-pay assistance, and other forms of financial assistance.
