Shelton police are asking for the public’s help in locating Albert Boria.
Boria, 28, is wanted for the sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl and three counts in impairing the morals of a minor.
Boria’s last known address was Howe Avenue.
However, police believe he is hiding in the New Haven area.
Boria has an extensive criminal background, with convictions for drug sales, assault and carrying a weapon in a motor vehicle.
