Shelton Parks & Rec Offers Youth Conditioning Camp

Shelton Parks & Recreation is offering a Youth Sport Conditioning Camp, a strength and conditioning program designed to provide athletes with an off-season training program.

These programs will aide an athlete in improving their strength, speed, agility, and
flexibility.

These physical fitness characteristics will allow the athlete to become better skilled and conditioned for his or her sport, as well as provide injury prevention.

This program will focus on core, balance, flexibility and basic resistant training techniques, along with sport specific skills, which will all combine to improve any athletes of any size, age, or sport.

Male and female athletes of any sport from incoming grades 9 to 12 will be accepted. The program will be held at Shelton High School.

Sign up at the Shelton Community Center Parks & Recreation office, 41 Church St. A waiver must be signed.
