SHELTON — A body found in the woods Saturday has been identified as Jason Mastroianni, a 43-year-old Shelton man who was last seen Jan. 17.
“The manner of death has not yet been determined, but there appears to be no signs of foul play,” Shelton police said in a statement Monday (Feb. 7).
Mastroianni was found in a wooded area near the intersection of Kathleen Road and Princeton Drive.
Shelton police had released two previous statements on Jan. 28 and Feb. 3 asking for the public’s help in locating Mastroianni. On Feb. 2, the Shelton Fire Department also posted information from Mastroianni’s cousin seeking information on his whereabouts.
