Have you seen this man?

Shelton police are seeking the public’s help locating this suspect, who they believe abducted a woman and sexually assaulted her in June.

Police released this drawing, completed by Det. Michael Fusco, on Thursday and are asking anyone who may recognize the man to contact the department at (203) 924‑1544.

A 23-year-old woman was abducted from the Seymour Avenue area of Derby about 2:30 a.m. June 20, police said. She was walking in the area, when a man pulled her into a dark colored car and drove away, according to a statement released by police.

Police said the suspect drove the woman to Shelton, sexually assaulted her in the parked car, and then drove her back to Derby and let her out. The suspect was described as a light-skinned Hispanic or black male with pock marks on his face. Police estimate he was between 30 and 40 years old.
