Shelton Police are asking anyone with information about a car vs. dirt bike accident last week to call the department.
On July 24, at about 5 p.m., a Nissan Murano and a dirt bike got into a car accident on Longellow Road.
The dirt-bike rider, 21-year-old Christopher Kurt of Shelton, was seriously injured and taken to the hospital for treatment, according to police.
Both drivers remained at the scene after the crash, according to Shelton Police Lt. Robert Kozlowsky, but police are looking to clear up some gaps in the accident report by an independent witness account.
They are specifically looking for the driver of a white van that was at the scene after the crash.
