Shelton Resident Planned Dodgeball Tournament To Benefit Kennedy Center

Dan L’Altrella of Shelton, organized the First Annual Dodge Ball Tournament to benefit The Kennedy Center and Sterling House in Stratford.

The event was held at Flood Middle School in Stratford, and raised a total of $1,500, which was split evenly between the two organizations.

Since my brother is a client of The Kennedy Center, I wanted to earmark funds for the many wonderful programs The Kennedy Center offers the community,” said L’Altrella.

Nearly 80 people participated.

The following professionals donated their services to this successful first-time fundraiser: Rita’s Ice in Bridgeport, disc jockey Brian Kearney of Stratford and Mike Liebensohn of Shelton and his wife Heather, who photographed and videotaped this fun event.
