Activities: Indoor Track Team Captain, Outdoor Track & Field Team Captain, 4x SCC All-Academic Team, SCC Eastern Sectional Champion, CAPT Scholar, National Honor Society, Boys’ State representative, Ping Pong Club, will attend Bryant University and will participate in the school’s track team.
Praise: “Nick takes his captain’s responsibilities very seriously. He has outstanding character and is a good role model for the younger members of the team. He represents the town of Shelton very well,” said Shelton High School Track and Field Coach Mike Gambardella.

The SCC Scholar Athlete of the Month program is sponsored by the Sportscenter of Connecticut and recognizes student athletes who have a minimum of a B (3.0) overall and earn a varsity letter. Student athletes also demonstrate leadership qualities by being a positive role model both on and off the field and show commitment to self-improvement and put their team before themselves.
