Shelton Scout Needs Help With Eagle Scout Project

Andrew Miller, of Boy Scout Troop 27 in Shelton, sent along the following info about his Eagle Scout Project:

I am Andrew Miller, a Life Scout looking for donations of medical supplies to build 100 first aid kits, to be distributed to the homeless through Spooner House, the Valley’s homeless shelter.

Materials needed:

- 90 antibiotic ointment tubes

- 15 tweezers

- 22 small hand sanitizer bottles

- 90 2×2 inch gauze pads

- 90 gauze rolls

All donations are greatly appreciated! I’m in the final stages of my project and just need these supplies to finish!

There is a donation drop off box at Lifetime Eyecare, 28 Huntington Plaza, Shelton.

Business hours are Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon, and Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Last collection pick up will be July 31.
