Shelton Director of Public Works Paul J. DiMauro announced Wednesday (Sept. 25) that the transfer station and city yard will be closed Monday, Oct. 14, in observance of Columbus Day.
They will reopen Tuesday, Oct. 15.
Trash and recycling will be collected on Monday as usual.
