The Shelton Youth Football and Cheer Organization is hosting a Cow Chip Family Fun Day Saturday, Aug. 10 (Rain Date: Sunday, Aug. 11) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Riverwalk at Veterans Park, 100 Canal St.
We will be having vendors selling their products, food trucks and lots of activities for the children.
All proceeds from the event go directly back to the children that play football and cheer in town. The money will be used for uniforms, equipments, field maintenance and upkeep and for any family that needs assistance. This organization’s philosophy is one where everyone plays and everyone cheers.
Cow to be released 1 p.m. Cash prize of $500 if the cow “chips” in your square.
