Two shots were fired but no one was hit during an alleged botched robbery Monday night in Derby.
Police were told two men attempted to rob a third man at the intersection of Anson and Lafayette at about 10 p.m.
The victim put up a fight, shots were fired but the bullets missed the victim.
One person, presumably the robbery victim, was taken to Griffin Hospital to get checked out.
Police were looking for two suspects.
A group of people outside at the corner of Anson and Sixth streets declined to talk to a reporter.
Further up Sixth Street toward Hawkins Street a woman said she didn’t see anything other than a bunch of lights from police cars and an ambulance called to the scene.
