In memory of a great friend, Eddie Dirienzo, employees at Sikorsky Air Craft decided that, in lieu of sending flowers to the funeral home, they would take up a collection and generously donate it to the Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley.

The $400 check was given on Nov. 10 by Bob Lahr, one of Eddie Dirienzo’s friends from Sikorsky.
The family requested that in leau of flowers, that money be sent to the Boys & Girls club.
Dirienzo attended the Boys & Girls club from age 8 to 14.
