One man is in custody and police are searching for another after a theft was interrupted at a Southbury business Thursday morning, the Oxford Patch reported.
The men were reportedly trying to steal scrap metal from the business and fled to Oxford after being interrupted by an employee.
Oxford Resident Trooper Sgt. Dan Semosky told the Patch that two men fled from Classic Coach, 1319 Southford Rd. in Southbury, after the theft attempt and headed down Rt. 67 towards Oxford.
