Maintenance Mechanic Job Posting
The Ansonia Housing Authority is currently seeking an additional full-time Maintenance Mechanic servicing State and Federal Elderly/Disabled Public Housing Complexes as well as various Scattered Site Properties owned/operated by the Ansonia Housing Authority.
This is a skilled position which performs basic activities in such classifications as: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, landscaping, masonry, and painting. The Maintenance Mechanic is also responsible for equipment maintenance including basic vehicle servicing. This position requires on-call responses after hours/weekends and overtime shifts including but not limited to inclement weather events.

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Valid CT Driver’s License
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in semi-skilled maintenance work including but not limited to repair of plumbing, carpentry, masonry, mechanical, apartment rehab, computer skills required. Bi-Lingual preferred.
• Pass a criminal background/credit check and drug/alcohol screening
