St. Thomas the Apostle Church will be hosting its annual Parish Picnic at the Colonial Tavern on Sunday, Sept. 11.
The day will start with a Mass at 11 a.m. on the grounds of Colonial Tavern, Hawley Road, and will be followed by the picnic.
It will be a fun-filled afternoon with plenty of food and drink, swimming, games, horse and buggy rides courtesy of parishioner Dorothy Vallee. There will be many special raffle prizes, and music by parishioner DJ Steve Schneider.
Ticket sales begin this weekend through Sept. 4, after all Masses.
The cost for the picnic is adults $15; seniors $13; children ages 5 – 12 $10; and the picnic is free for children under the age of 5. Tickets will cost $1 more if purchased the day of the picnic.
