State and federal officials held a virtual town hall meeting Thursday to update small business owners on assistance available to help them navigate the economic storm being generated by the COVID-19 public health crisis.
The participants included Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz, Gov. Ned Lamont, U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy, U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal, U.S. Rep. Rosa DeLauro, Kurt Westby, the commissioner of the state Department of Labor, and Fran Pastore, CEO and founder of the Women’s Business Development Council.
