Party: Democrat
Work: Works at a community health center for people who are uninsured or underinsured. Lives in Woodbridge.
Themis Klarides (incumbent)
Party: Republican
Work: Serving her eighth term in the state legislature, Klarides was appointed the Deputy Republican Leader of the House in 2007. She is also a lawyer in the Orange office of Cohen and Wolf, a Bridgeport-based law firm. Lives in Derby.
