State Plans Road Work In Shelton

Shelton state legislators Rep. Jason Perillo and Sen. Kevin Kelly sent press releases Friday (July 10) with the following information about upcoming state road work in the city.

Route 110

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 110 in Shelton.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a .79 mile segment of Route 110 in Shelton.

The milling segment of this project is to be performed on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 through Monday, July 20, 2015.

The resurfacing segment of this project is to be performed on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 through Friday, July 31, 2015.
 
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2015 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 110 from Myrtle Street to 200 feet south of Wooster Street (North). 

The regular work schedule for this project is 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Friday.

Route 714

Milling will begin Sunday, July 12 and continue through Wednesday, July 15.

Resurfacing will begin on Tuesday, July 21 and continue to Tuesday, July 28.

Motorists can expect lane closures on .22 miles north of Huntington Street to .06 miles south of Long Hill Cross Street.

The regular work schedule for this project is 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Friday.
