SEYMOUR — A 49-year-old Seymour man was charged with cultivating marijuana and operating a drug factory, state police announced Wednesday.
Adrian Stock was also charged with possession of more than a kilo of marijuana, and risk of injury to a child.
At 6 p.m. Tuesday (April 27) members of the Statewide Narcotics Task Force served a search warrant at 119 Squantuck Road, according to a prepared statement from police.
“The search warrant execution was the culmination of an investigation into the illegal cultivation of marijuana occurring on the property,” state police said.
Police said they seized more than 100 marijuana plants, along with items to grow marijuana, such as lights and fertilizer.
Police said they found thousands of rounds of ammunition, along with 17 rifles and handguns. No weapons charges were announced.
Stock was charged with risk of injury because police said an 8‑year-old child was in the house during the raid and that several of the firearms were near children’s toys.
Stock’s court date wasn’t available Wednesday.
Seymour police assisted in the search and arrest.
