Four Oxford students were recognized by Interim Superintendent James Connelly this week.
The students recognized were:
- Matthew Morelli, eighth grade, Great Oak Middle School
- Rebecca Shpak, eighth grade, Great Oak Middle School
- Robert Stumpo, senior, Oxford High School
- Shelby Burnett, senior, Oxford High School
The students are all on the honor roll, and involved in the community.
Connelly presented the students with Certificates of Excellence from the Connecticut Association of Public School Superintendents, which recognize a broad range of leadership skills.
“All these student leaders know each other,” Connelly said. “It shows what a close community we are.”
