The Valley Indy has published THOUSANDS of community announcements over the years.

Don’t rely on Facebook alone for publicity and news releases!

Add ValleyIndependentSentinel@gmail.com to your distribution list.

Submission Guidelines (keep it simple):

1. Send the announcement as a plain-text email or plain-text Word doc.

2. Attach a jpg photo connected to the submission. Horizontal photos display much, much better on the site. Logos work, too!

3. It’s that easy!

(Please note we respectfully request for-profit entities to pay $99 for a sponsored post)

Unfortunately, PDFs, while popular, take a few extra steps to process. That increases the amount of time needed to post your submission. Keep in mind right now The Valley Indy has 49,000 emails in its inbox, so …

Keep it simple!

Word docs should not contain multiple fonts, embedded photos, or multiple columns. Plain-text without formatting is the easiest way to get submissions online quickly.

The Valley Indy also has a free online calendar. It’s a little tricky to use, but it is available to everyone.

To use the calendar, you must register first. Click here to fill out the form.

You’ll need to submit a valid email, and you’ll need to confirm that email. It only takes a minute, I just tried it out.
