Support Project Purple Tonight At The Italian Pavilion

November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month and Project Purple is teaming with the Italian Pavilion in Derby to raise awareness and money for the cause.

Project Purple is a charity. Dino Verrelli, whose father died from pancreatic cancer, is the group’s founder.

Verrelli sent the Valley Indy a note last night announcing that from 5 p.m. to close tonight (Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012) the Italian Pavilion, off Pershing Drive in Derby near the former site of the Valley Bowl, will be donating 20 percent of its sales to Project Purple.

This is one of many events this month locally for us here in the Valley as November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month,” Verrelli said in an e‑mail.

The phone number at the Italian Pavilion is 203 – 736-9005. Please note that the restaurant recently moved to a larger location about 100 yards from its old building next to the Valley Bowl. Same spot off Pershing Drive, just a little further down the driveway.
