ANSONIA – Embroidered aprons and etched steel dog bowls will be for sale at the Ansonia Farmer’s Market on Friday (July 26), with all proceeds benefiting the Ansonia Animal Shelter.
According to a post on the City of Ansonia Facebook page, embroidered aprons will be sold for $35 and stainless steel etched dog bowls can be bought in small ($14) or large ($15) sizes. Donations of dog food will also be accepted.
The Farmer’s Market is at Veteran’s Park every Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. It continues through November. Eligible participants – including WIC participants and seniors and disabled individuals who meet income and housing guidelines – can receive up to $60 toward their purchases at the market, according to the City of Ansonia.
